In 1922 the “Westfalia Vehicle factory” employed 56 people and by 1935 their first caravan was built. The 50’s and 60’s witnessed the iconic VW Camper series. The first Ford Transit-based Nugget was launched in 1985 and by 2001 Westfalia celebrated their 500,000th recreational vehicle. These days 200 people are employed building 6,000 vehicles per annum. Thanks to ongoing investment in tooling & development, Westfalia are recognised worldwide for engineering excellence, Innovative technology and Durability. Optional sun awnings define outside space for relaxing or perhaps an impulsive BBQ, whilst a drive away awning provides living, sleeping and storage solutions. The elevating roof Westfalia Nugget manages to incorporate a substantial double berth within the roof, which simply pulls down from within the roof when required. The innovative lower seat slides forward to provide a generous and comfortable double berth, whilst engineered kitchen storage solutions maximise every available space. |

The High roof Westfalia Nugget shares the same dining table system, triple seat / lower double bed, kitchen, and rear cupboards as the elevating roof model. However the High roof offers permanent head room & insulation, upper lockers, and a massive pull out upper double bed, also available for additional storage. The unique “Translift” roof system provides versatile sports equipment storage all designed to be user friendly and manufactured to the highest safety standards. |
