New Kia Cee’d from GK Group in Worksop
Everything about the Kia cee’d represents a new way of thinking. It has a dynamic appearance in line with the manufacturer’s fresh design approach.
Exterior and interior design
A first indication of the cee’d sportier character is the integrated rear spoiler, which is joined at the back of the car by a practical heated rear windscreen. The front face is similarly expressive, fitted with vivid projection headlights, fog lights, daytime running lights and a chrome-edged grille. In contrast, the door handles, mirror caps and bumpers are body-coloured for an uninterrupted smooth line.
Inside the cee’d you will find a blend of black cloth and metallic trims, and an armrest integrated with the centre console adds to the comfort in the front. The split folding rear seats allow for up to 1,318 litres of luggage space when required, and many other handy storage compartments can be found throughout the cabin.
Engines and performance
The cee’d is always raring to go, and Kia offers a selection of 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines. The top-end diesel is both the most powerful and efficient, claiming 126bhp, 260Nm of torque, and as much as 76.3mpg combined in fuel economy.
Choose from: 1, VR7, 2, 3, 4 or 4 Tech – all arrive generously equipped. Starting with 1, you benefit from features such as Bluetooth® connectivity, a trip computer and a six-speaker audio system. Grade 3 and above ensures the inclusion of automatic headlights and wipers.
The cee’d has also received five stars in Euro NCAP safety testing, and comes with twin front, side and curtain airbags, ABS, ESC and ISOFIX child seat attachments.
Options and upgrades
Every equipment level has its own wheel style and size, from 15 to 17 inches and in either steel or alloy. You also have between four and seven paintwork shade options at varying specifications, with Fusion White and Track Red always on the list. Drivers who choose their cee’d with a manual transmission and at grade 2 or above further benefit from a built-in Gear Shift Indicator.
